Book a private 30-minute session with Finnian or Andrew and bring us your questions, plot problems, character arcs, world-building headaches, a premise you’re not sure works, etc. Or even a manuscript that has wandered into the woods and refuses to come home.

This is a focused conversation designed to help you identify what’s working, troubleshoot what isn’t, and leave with practical ideas for moving forward.

You might book a Story Consult if you want to:

• Talk through a plot or structural problem
• Brainstorm your premise or story concept
• Work on a character, relationship, or character arc
• Get unstuck on a work-in-progress
• Discuss your next steps as a writer

Story Coaching
Ongoing, One-on-One Support

​Story Coaching is our more personalized, ongoing option for writers developing a novel, screenplay, or other substantial storytelling project.

Unlike a one-time consult, your coach gets to know your project and your goals. Together, you’ll identify where you need support and build an approach around your writing process.

Story Coaching may include:

• Regular one-on-one coaching sessions
• Story development and brainstorming
• Plot and structure guidance
• Character development
• Accountability and goal setting
• Troubleshooting creative roadblocks
• Revision planning and strategy
• Guidance tailored to your individual project and process

Because coaching requires an ongoing commitment from both writer and coach, spaces are limited and offered through an application process.

Start by telling us a little about yourself, your preferred coach, your project, where you are in the process, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. If we think we’re a good fit, we’ll arrange a short introductory meeting to talk about your project, your goals, cost, and what coaching could look like.

Don't worry, you don’t need to have everything figured out before you apply (that’s kind of the point).

Cost of story coaching varies depending on needs, writing process, schedule, etc. Quotes will be discussed upon application.
