Horror doesn't always need a 200 page slow burn to take the dread to a factor of 10. Sometimes all it needs is one small uncanny detail, one terrifying sentence, one small scream.
Finnian Burnett and Andrew Buckley will explore how to craft horror in short forms, where every word matters and fear has to grip your reader fast. We’ll dig into the mechanics of dread, and how to build a sense of creeping terror through voice, atmosphere, and character.
