The Complete Screenwriting Intensive bundles all three of Andrew Buckley’s 8-week screenwriting courses into one comprehensive 6-month program at a discounted rate.
Beginning with From Concept to Script, students will learn the fundamentals of screenwriting while developing their own feature screenplay. From Script to Screenplay builds on those foundations with advanced work on structure, character, dialogue, genre, rewriting, and polishing a draft. Finally, Screenwriting Beyond the Page explores advanced cinematic storytelling, including visual storytelling, tension, setups and payoffs, set pieces, nonlinear narratives, theme, and writing for production.
Three courses. Twenty-four weeks. A complete journey from first concept to advanced cinematic storytelling.
Workload: Each week, students will be asked to read one screenplay and watch one movie for study in the next class.
